A language that stays with you

Two things. Every mistake is explained: you see why your answer didn't fit, plus the rule behind that word. And words come back on their own, right as you start to forget them, not on a fixed schedule.

Yes. Every lesson in all five courses is open on the free plan, and the only limit is 3 new lessons a day, with a 4th unlocked by a short ad. Review and practice are unlimited.

From absolute zero: level A0 is literally the first words and sounds. If you already know some of the language, a short test at the start picks your starting level.

You say the phrase, the app recognizes your speech, compares it with the model answer and shows your score as a percentage. Any word that didn't land is highlighted, and you can retry it straight away.

Every word has its own interval. The more confidently you answer, the less often it appears. Get it wrong and the word comes back sooner, in a different exercise type.

One lesson is 8 to 17 exercises, about seven minutes. Two lessons plus review fit into 15 minutes. You can set the daily goal to suit you.

Your streak resets, your progress stays. Any words you started to forget in the meantime are slipped into your very next lessons, so there is nothing to catch up on by hand.

On the free plan, yes. With Pro the app works without internet: lessons, audio and explanations are all available offline.

Your progress is tied to your account and only you can see it. You can delete your account, and everything in it, right in the app settings.

The free plan shows short ads; Pro has none. Karo is on Android today, and an iPhone version is in the works.
